Board and Train Programs in Portland Oregon
In-Home Board & Train in Portland
Structure, Clarity, and Real-Life Training — Inside a Home and outside in the real world.
Your dog isn’t bad, or being spiteful. They just don’t understand what the expectations are.
If walks feel chaotic, your dog struggles to relax inside the house, or your words fall on deaf ears, the issue usually isn’t your dog. It’s a lack of understanding, structure, boundaries, and clear communication.
My in-home Board & Train programs are designed to help dogs channel their energy with purpose, understand expectations, and learn how to live well in a real household.
These board and train programs are for owners who want to develop a better relationship with their dog, improve their ability to communicate them, and achieve long-term results
Is Our Portland Board & Train Right for Your Dog?
This program is a great fit if your dog:
Has high energy but struggles with direction
Has difficulty disengaging and relaxing after activity
Needs clearer rules and boundaries inside the home
Is socially appropriate with people and dogs (rambunctious and excited dogs are ok)
Has no history of human-directed aggression
This program may not be a fit if your dog:
Has a bite history or human-directed aggression
Displays severe leash reactivity in close quarters
Requires intensive behavior modification for aggression
Cannot safely navigate shared or public spaces
Board & Train acceptance is limited and case-by-case to ensure the safety and success of every dog in my home. Bite history, aggression and severe reactivity will be recommenced to private lessons.
